I Shot the Sheriff, but i also did a music video...

So i'd never shot a music video before, in fact, i've never really shot anything before other than photographs.
But i got this fancy new camera that shoots in HD and i said to myself, "Heck! why not?"
I've never edited anything more complicated than a video blog - so this was an amazing and at times, frustrating, learning experience.
I put in a house-load (just made that term up) of hours on this, thankfully there is a workhorse of a computer
in the room over from me that i got to use. otherwise, sadly, my beautiful 24" iMac would not have cut it. (ooh! ooh! video pun!)
This project has taken up a lot of my time in the past week or so, but is the last project i'm taking on for a while.
It's time to focus on me, my future, and my music! hoooray!

if so, wow. that's all. great job, i've been doing video production for 8 years and i know how time consuming and frustrating it can be.

Thanks will! and yes your understanding is correct. shot it on an $800 rebel t1i with some decent lenses. 85mm 1.8 and the 10-24mm 3.5-4.5. through hindsight i gained a lot of foresight for the next time around. i think i'm going to buy one of those cheapo 50mm 1.8 lenses that canon makes as well, just for video.
